Art Trail
30 May to 12 June 2022
This year’s Antipodean Palette exhibition will showcase the Greek Australian Artist Directory (GAAD), an important archive of Greek Australian art practice in Australia.
Eight artworks will be selected from submissions and displayed in print form on large posters (H2378mm X W1682mm) that will adorn 4 outdoor locations within 1.5km of each other. They will form an art trail from Glenlyon Road to William St, off Sydney Road, in the busy cultural hub of Brunswick, Melbourne amidst shops, wine bars, cafes and galleries. A map will show the locations where the posters will be on display.
Artists who have registered in the GAAD will be invited to participate in the AP2022. To sign up to the GAAD please visit https://gaclmelbourne.com/g/gaad/
There is no theme to the 2022 Antipodean Palette however artwork must have been completed within the last 12 months and the artist must be registered in the GAAD. It is imperative that the work is in portrait form to comply with the design. Submissions must be submitted by midnight 8 May 2022.
Our designers will once again be the award winning HM Studio. Works will be selected by a panel of five Greek Australian Cultural League (GACL) Committee members, Maria Foroudi, John Georgiou, Connie Gregory, Aphroditi Karalis, and Vasy Petros
